TARIFF RESTORATION BLOC

DETAILED VERSION PATRIOTIC AUSTRALIANS OF ALL POLITICAL AND PHILOSOPHICAL PERSUASIONS COMING TOGETHER TO RESTORE NATIONAL PROSPERITY

What are tariffs?

Tariffs are protective taxes and levies added to the value of foreign products and services, preventing these from unfairly competing with Australian products and subsequently causing unemployment, poverty and national dependence on foreign powers.

What is Australia’s current position?

Australia is the only country in the world to comply significantly with the World Trade Organisation’s demand that we reduce, and finally, remove all tariffs. Others, including the US, have actually increased their overall level of tariffs.
(context of BlueScope Steel CEO address to American Chamber of Commerce, 2006; Weekly News).

Why Australian Governments (both ALP and Coalition) should have surrendered our national sovereignty and independence is a question we would all like the answer to. According to our Australian Constitution this should not have been possible. This raises the issue of tariff removal being in breach of the Constitution...

Section 44 Disqualification (of a politician)

Any person who:

(i)                 Is under acknowledgement of allegiance, obedience or adherence to a foreign power, or is a subject or a citizen or entitled to the rights or privileges of a subject or a citizen of a foreign power…(is disqualified from being a member of the House of Representatives or Senate).

Only with the approval of the people of Australia, evidenced by successful referendum, could such a momentous decision be made without activating Section 44.

No such referenda took place and tariffs were reduced and removed illegally.

Because surveys reveal that tariff removal was not supported by a majority of Australians, and has clearly caused immense suffering and poverty throughout the nation, it can also be said that tariff removal did not constitute ‘good government’, which also puts the guilty politicians in breach of Section 51 of the Constitution.

A UN-compliant High Court has abrogated its Constitutional duty to prosecute these breaches, in spite of multiple requests by citizenry.

What happened when tariffs were reduced and removed?

In essence, tariff reduction and removal destroyed two thirds of our family farms and one third of our manufacturing sector.

Aussie farmers and business people could not compete with cheap third world subsidised produce, fruit, manufactured items, clothing and footwear. They were rapidly driven into insolvency, and workers lost their jobs.

Altogether, the demise of tariffs; along with associated GATS, GATT and free trade agreements, cost Aussie workers about three million full time jobs (Creating 21.3% unemployment: Bulletin Morgan survey; published July 20,1999; p 44).

Most of those affected were from rural and regional Australia (primary and support industries), and approximately one million workers and their families were forced to move to coastal cities to find work; with disastrous results.

Many farmers committed suicide, as did family breadwinners exposed to John Howard’s fraudulent claims of an “Era of Prosperity”. Many of these workers slid into terminal depression believing their incapacity to feed and nurture their families was due to their own personal failures and inadequacies. In truth, it was due to factors entirely beyond their control. Bob Hawke, Paul Keating and John Howard have innocent blood on their hands.

More recent effects

Imported products have caused our balance of trade to become dangerously lopsided, with imports now approximately 30% higher in value than exports. This also means that when the US dollar crashes, Australia will be extremely susceptible to the global depression that will most certainly follow. On top of the actual national unemployment level* of 19%¹, and the 54%² whose incomes are under $15,000 PA, this will be calamitous.

Meanwhile, cheap Chinese products are believed to have been subsidised by foreign banks operating in China; the funds of which are owned by Rockefeller and Rothschild-led consortiums. As proof of the subsidies, the CEO of Australia’s BlueScope Steel referred to rolls of sheet steel that are selling in Australia for prices lower than the cost of mining the original ore in China.

In other words, this is an orchestrated strategy to undermine Australia’s manufacturing and food-producing capacity, making us dependent on foreign corporations and international bankers.

And the easily calculated reason for all this ruthless targeting is that Australia is the only country in the world that does not have to trade. We are self-sufficient in everything except some oil products. With such independence we could mount a successful resistance against the proposed New World Order and international bankers fear this could become the thin edge of a possible international wedge of resistance, widening a gap already created by Venezuela; and conjoined by Bolivia, Japan, Russia, Malaysia and Iran

(the real source of US Administration antipathy; which has its genesis in the Rockefeller-owned and operated Trilateral Commission (TC). See various books by 1973 TC architect, Zbigniew Brzezinski).

Tariff restoration: foreseeable effects

By restoring tariffs, the following will occur:

Australia will have created an impervious firewall against imported international recession. With only limited imports, Australia can weather the coming global depression unscathed. We need a minor quantity of petrol imports (30%); and we are also reliant on foreign lubricating greases and oils. However, Venezuela has already announced it would trade on very favourable terms with any other nation resisting the global banker elite
(
Venezuela has publicly and famously ejected the Rockefeller/Rothschild-financed WTO, the World Bank and the IMF, as unwanted “creators of poverty”).

With tariffs restored, Australian family farmers will return to the land.

This will regenerate the rural and regional economy, providing a financial climate favourable for primary industry support businesses and former bank branches. Within three years this will generate (conservatively) one million full time jobs (3000 in bank branches alone).
The subsequently restored regional economy and its returned population will create demand for the recommissioning of hospitals and schools. This, in turn, will inspire a secondary population movement from coastal cities.

It has been estimated that approximately one in five³ urban families will move back to rural and regional Australia for the healthier family environment and access to home ownership; and close to 40%³ of retirees will follow, especially to escape rate rises that are undermining fixed incomes; but also for reasons of personal safety and lifestyle. The critical elements of jobs, schools and hospitals will facilitate this profound and diverse population movement.

The enhanced regional economy will meant that local councils will once again be solvent, causing the abandonment of the much hated Queensland Council Amalgamations, which dangerously centralise development decision-making and alienate community ownership of local resources.
The dramatic and proportionate reduction in city populations will cause a rapid decline in demand for water. Governments have lied to us about water shortages, not admitting that the dry Australian continent could never support large European-style city populations, with our comparatively tiny regional water catchments. In truth, Government wanted a water crisis to facilitate privatisation of water; which is what Malcolm Turnbull has been up to all along; manoeuvring our water resources towards predatory Bechtel and Goldman-Sachs. Tariff restoration will initiate a chain of events that will end the urban water crisis. Pleasing environmentalists, it will also terminate the Traveston Dam venture, therein saving the lungfish and a turtle species from extinction (See QEPA and EIA reports, Qld Government), along with a rich and expansive dairy region.

Another impact will be a reduction in expensive projected highway extensions and similar urban developments. This in turn will mean the saving of outer urban land, enabling this to be preserved for food production instead of tar and cement. Wildlife regions, too, will retain their eco-integrity.
Meanwhile, manufacturing will flourish and, combining this with the factors of rural redevelopment and stimulation of the farm economy, a total of two million permanent full time jobs will be created. This will eliminate urban poverty and homelessness, which was a direct result of tariff removal in the first place. What has long been known is that poverty is the prime determinant of crime, family break-up, and alcohol and drug abuse. With protective tariffs restored, families will prosper and we will see a significant fall in the divorce rate, a drop in crime, and a reduction in substance abuse.

All of these tremendous advances in the Australian way of life will be brought about simply by restoring tariffs that protect our safe food supplies, our family farming communities, our manufacturers, and our IT service providers.

Nothing new in this

Of course, many of you have phoned or e-mailed us to point out that you have been saying this for years, and we happily acknowledge this. We ordinary Aussies are not stupid. We have just been denied a voice for three decades.

Our time to be heard has arrived and we are taking our nation back.

If any readers have ideas or insights to contribute, that might expand the scope of what history might call the Great Australia Rescue, or help us spread the call to defend our nation’s economy and our families, please contact us.

“We” by the way, is a vast coming together of Aussies of entirely disparate beliefs and political persuasions. We are unified in the single cause of restoring Australian prosperity and national independence… by restoring tariffs. We address no other issue.

Spreading the word

Every reader can join the effort by photocopying the tariff restoration message and handing it personally to family members, neighbours and people in shopping centres.

Alternatively, e-mail this to everyone you know. It is surprising how quickly messages can flood the nation, and time is of the essence. As global recession bears down on Australia at absolutely frightening speed, the sooner we stop imports the sooner our nation’s firewall is erected. It is that simple. Every day we delay can probably be measured in hundreds of family incomes lost.

Every Aussie can help win this campaign

Something that will make or break our effort is money. We need money to develop the tariff restoration campaign; and of immediate urgency, to build our own Website using our registered domain.

Please send any amount you can, a five dollar postal order or even a $5 note in a card. Currently we have $1,200, but we need about $4,000 to successfully reach Aussies with our Website, and much more to launch a mobile campaign across Australia. Ultimately, we need to attract corporate donations because, once the campaign moves into top gear, we will be fighting against the Murdoch media and Government’s ABC and SBS, and victory will necessarily entail a micro-tabloid handout to every single Australian. We don’t need to tell you that this will cost us an arm and a leg.

But our labour is free. Thousands of Aussies patriots have offered their time and energy to hand out our message in their own home districts. This is altruism the enemy cannot hope to match. We will prevail.

For those who want to help at an organisational level, the rules are simple:

We have no leaders. All decisions are made by fully informed consensus.
We do not discuss any other issues. The strength of our campaign is that our conflicting beliefs and activities are entirely excluded, and we are, therefore, totally united over the single issue of tariff restoration.

All requests for information must be directed to tonyryan43@gmail.com, until our Website has been completed in April, whereupon our new domain name and email address will replace this. Misinformation can kill our campaign and will be exploited by globalists to minimise our influence. Therefore, accuracy is critical; research will be ongoing and updates will continue.

The nucleus of a campaign management team has been formalised. This currently numbers seven editorial members, but we need more, and in every state.

Contemporary group membership consists of small political parties, both on the left and centre; the Australian Small Business Forum, Christian political lobbies, and independent candidates and their supporters, and a broad spectrum of individuals from all walks of life. We need you all. No group is excluded.

*From well before the Australian Recession of the 1890s, through the Great Depression, and up until the late 1970s, employment was defined as having a job that paid a liveable wage. To have valid historical and therefore statistical significance, any time-weighted measure must have definitive consistency. Commensurate with this principle, unemployment was defined as not having a job that paid a liveable wage.

During the Keating/Howard era, employment (and therefore unemployment) was redefined as having experienced one hour’s work, training or study during the past week. This effectively removed about 70% of unemployed from official statistics; more in some states. eg In the NT, where CDEP removed about 95% of Aborigines from statistics, wherein 37% unemployed was neatly reduced to 7%. We regard the historical definition of unemployment as the only valid measure, and this is how we defined unemployment in our surveys.

¹, ², & ³ These figures were derived from the October 2006 interactive questionnaire surveys of a pre-measured and proven (2001) archetypal Australian demographic corridor in South East Queensland (SEQ) (Buderim/ Kuluin/ Maroochydore outer CBD/ Maroochy Waters); a purportedly tourism-wealthy region, in which any conceivable bias should lean heavily towards prosperity and low unemployment, relative to mainstream Australia.

The survey was undertaken by the Australian Independent’s Alliance, adapting techniques successfully developed by the Commonwealth and NT Governments to finally accurately measure urban drift, camp populations and transgeographic motivation of traditional Northern Territory Aborigines.  Prior to this, standard social science research models produced up to five hundred percent margins of error (Dept Aboriginal Affairs and ABCTV).

The results of the SEQ sample demographic survey were published in the micro tabloid Australian Independent, which is available on request, for critical perusal in hardcopy or PDF.

Inquiry should be directed to tonyryan43@gmail.com or to PO Box 1786 Sunshine Coast Qld 4558.

Verbal inquiry will be received on (07) 54 754 009. Phone numbers in other States will appear as these become available.
